RSVP

Dearest Kt Mac,
We would love to come to your sweet goodbye party but we are VERY sorry to say we won't be able to make it.
If we could come Andrew would come dressed as a Sweet Sugar Daddy.
And this time it would be my turn to be popping out of a cake.
For our sweets contribution we'd bring Banana Cream Pie along cause it sounds amazing.

Have lots of fun without us and we'll see you soon (maybe for some banana cream pie).

Cafe Triniti

Sometimes I feel like every morning I am running a cafe.
This morning's menu was:

1 bowl of creamy hot porridge with brown sugar for Master Connor
1 fried egg on toast with a tomato sauce smiley face for Miss Kenz
1 frog in a hole (no toads at our place!) again for Miss Kenz (apparently restocking the empty tum!)

1 grapefruit with a smattering of sugar and a handful of almonds for me. (The grapefruit was from Uncle Ron"s farm and was fabulous)
This was all before 6:30am when the cafe closes and the beauty shop opens so we can be ready for the day ahead with shiny teeth, brushes hair and clean ironed clothes.
I love being an at home Mum. It is going to take a herd of wild bulls to get me back full time.
I love it...I love it....I love it.

Thank Your Lucky Stars

Sometimes a girl just needs a good old rant to get things off her chest.  Well, here's my rant.  We share our laundry with our next door neighbour.  Usually this isn't a problem.  The last few neighbours (we seem to go through them quite quickly, is it us?!) have been fine.  The odd pair of greying whitey-tighties left in the drum of the machine were the only things we had to put up with.  But we have a new neighbour.  One with a serious thing for doing laundry.  But she's a messy.  And she leaves her clothes hanging in there all week.  Which means that I am currently surrounded by wet clothes hanging on any available space in our dining room.  And they smell.  She leaves the drum closed when she's finished her washing and it gets all musty smelling, then our clothes take on the smell when we wash after her.
Andrew laughed when I said that one of the things I'm looking forward to when we head to Oz for Christmas is doing the washing.  No sharing of a machine, and hanging out the clothes to dry in the fresh, sunshiney air.  Now, that's the way to do your laundry.  A girl can dream!

Happy Birthday Brenton!

Have a wonderful birthday Benton- for once I am going to keep my clothes on to
wish a family member happy birthday!....

That does not mean this will not include nudity!

So from me and my friends
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

http://writingasjoe.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

I found this while looking for old naked ladies to grace Brenton on his birthday as
he has had enough naked shock from me for a life time I am sure ( I am not always
kind to those who do not understand my inability to be fully clothed!)

I like this woman. I like her blog header and I love the entry on October 10, 2007 ....

These boots are made for walkin...

Calli Mac - Would you like these worn in 'funk' cowboy boots???

I know they have no cut outs or shaped at top but I think they are pretty cool.... xxx

SMOKING IS BAD....

I do not smoke...
I do not like smoking...
I do not endorse smoking...

But i did love finding FAGS
here and pretending to smoke
with my friends....

Peter Pan never grew up,
so why should I ?!

A little bit of 'creative!'

Well I had a lot of fun doing these and I love them! For my wonderful 2 new nieces!

Man in the rain!

I have begun an interesting personal research into 'how people wear rain'. I am in a very good location to do such research as this luminous green land knows oh so well a good down pour. I have noted those who hurry to escape the rain, those who huddle under any form of cover be it umbrella, raincoat, newspaper, those who hide in door ways in the vain hope that it shall end soon and then these people....

People who are either so use to it, so tired of it or far too 'above it' to even acknowledged it is raining. I noted a suited business man who wore the rain like an evening scarf lightly upon his shoulders. This was despite the fact that he was sodden, there was no rushing, no hiding and no admittance of the fact that it was pouring wild mad torrents of water upon us all.

Me being Australia and having just cycled 1 hour in the pour in shorts and teeshirt was laughing hysterically, trying to see through smudged, watered steamy glasses so I didn't have my third bike accident similar to this ....
OUCH!

I have a Dream

I have a dream that one day 1 or 2 or 3 of my sisters will live within walking distance of me, at least for a while. Oh, the tea parties and sewing parties and pj parties we could have!
So, in order to see that dream fulfilled I look at houses near or around me. Today I visited four with family in tow. We love to choose our bedrooms and see how small the bathrooms are! I loved two of them.....of course they were terrace houses and very suited to a single married couple without children or a single person with lots of beaus!!!! They were great and one day my dream is to own one of my own....in the meantime I will allow at least one of my sisters to live my dream and buy a terrace...after all it is just around the corner and we are great neighbours!
(Camera still very sick and I am saving for a terrace so no chance of a new one!)

Oh Me, Oh My

My garden is growing.  My lettuce is getting crunchier, my corn is growing taller, my football onions are getting bigger, my carrots are sprouting and my flowers are blooming.  (There's just a slight problem, they think the ground may be poisoned with lead.  Maybe I might grow a second head because of the rocket that I gobbled this morning.)

A Riddle

What keeps you warm,
Has a beautiful glow,
Needs feeding regularly
and has just moved in at our house?
Answer, with photo's hopefully in tomorrows post.
