All or nothing!!

I either have loads of time or NIL, ZIP ZILCH to blog so sorry if you get tired, bored or frustrated but ladies I have like 3 months worth of blogging to do in an evening! So suck it up and love me any way!

Spiders...

My windscreen spider, he grows everyday and is now big enough to eat my head in one mouthful Baby I got Gas!!!!!

Kkkkkk-Kati

Why do you stick your hand in the clucky hens box and pull it out by the butt??
Because Stewy the Stupid told me I had to!!
And man oh man it took some guts to plung my hand into a tiny box with a big chook, not only a big chook but a grumpy sharp beaked chook!

House hunting....

He like one she liked the other they decided to flip a coin...

Den how I adore thee...

She is like us... Hang on she came 1st so maybe we are like her!
I had such a blast going op-shopping with my Gran! We even got an old lady invite to coffee and cake, I am a granny without the grey hair (without any hair!)
I love her cause she loves me, she prayes for me, she gives me the biggest hugs and kisses me smack bang on the lips every time I 'Pop in'.
She is a little forgetful at times but she gives me good advice and something to smile about all day long. We are the luckiest grandaughters in the world cause..

Our Gran Den ROCKS!

Food, Glorious Food

Just because I haven't changed the menu on the blog doesn't mean that we're not eating our delicious way through life.  This week, on the menu, we had home-baked pizzas, summer salad with homemade pasta, caprese salad with ciabatta, cheese and cauliflower soup, and the best burgers in town.  Oh yeah.

Sew Wasting Time

I've been revelling in the fact that I have no assignments due and no exams for the next four weeks, aaah.  I've also nearly caught up on the uni work that I had fallen behind on during the Queen's Day/48HFP craziness.  All this makes me feel like I can crack out the sewing machine again.  I've only made a few things, just to get the creative juices flowing and to make me feel a little saner.  This one is for Nafta, the little rocker.  He's always pretending to play the guitar so I thought I'd make one for him to play.  He'll be coming over tomorrow so I'll try to get a picture of him rocking out on it.
This little girl was a combination of different inspirations.  Her little heart cushion is scented with eucalyptus oil which totally takes me back to childhood and having our pillows and hankies dosed with the oil to help our little colds get better.  I thought it would be cool to make these with lavender-filled cushions (and other soothing stuff which I can't remember now), to help little babies calmly drift off to sleep.  Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts.
And if you don't want a little cushion in there, her little arms would happily hold something else.
We're having brunch at ours tomorrow morning and we're going to live it up with pikelets with honeycomb butter and strawberries, thanks Trinny (I have been using the little recipe book that you put all the Christmas recipes in SO much lately).

My Island Home

I just had an epiphany.  Prepare yourselves girls, it's big...
We all live on islands.  They range from not too big, to the biggest but I think it's just another thing that keeps us all connected, along with shared genes, sharing jeans, matching childhood clothes, incredible cooking talents and beautiful blue eyes.

Looks like Andrew and I will have to keep the whole island thing going for our next move...

Just Like Mork from Ork

This is my naughty corner.  It's where I exile myself to when I'm bouncing all over the place at home.  It's a study pod in the library here in Amsterdam.

It's great cause I get my study done and when I get bored of uni work I can pretend to be flying in outer space.  Cool.

Late Night Shopping

We got kicked out of IKEA last night, again.  We spend so much time laying on the beds, testing out how well the office chairs spin and finding the funniest thing to put on our heads (a close competition between a bathroom plastic step with holes for the eyes and a REALLY big cane light shade) that we run out of time to do the real shopping.  Can you get blacklisted from IKEA?  I think we could be well on our way...
