For Mumma and Grandpa

Thank you for my letter Mumma and Grandpa.

I took the birdie for a walk as soon as I got it.

I love you!

Calli and Andrew's Newest Craft Project

Here's a little sneak preview of the kiddo:

18 weeks and 5 days
I think we've got another mischievous one on our hands as we had to do all kinds of maneuvering to get the right position for the scans. But that's ok, we like them like that around here.

See here to catch any family resemblance.

A few things that make me Smile

A finished baby blanket project for a friends brand spankin' new bub. It says "eat, play, sleep, repeat"
No crying or pooping included! It is backed with very soft white fabric that you just want to touch all the time.

yellow thread on my sewing machine makes the grey day outside ok.
our welcome sign ..."welcome to the circus"...as we sometimes have a house full of clowns, sometimes roaring lions and sometimes too many ring masters this house definitely needs a welcome to the circus sign!
pretty fabric pom poms and red spots and stripes above our fire.....definitely curiouser and curiouser.
one of my very favourite photo's that makes me smile.....cousin love and colourful balloons. There is nothing like it.
These are a few things that make me smile...just a few.

A Few Random Things

Here's just a little collection of loveliness and fun from the last few weeks...

Ladies who Lunch

Mum came to Sydney to have lunch with us today.

In honour of her trekking down here I bought a 1 kilo burrito for us to share for lunch.

It was from Mad Mex and it was good.

After Mum left Langlan spent half an hour in this puddle.

And then he took most of the puddle back into the hotel in his clothes.

A good, good day.

Parramatta

Langlan and I are tearing up Parramatta while Andrew does some work at the refinery. So far we have gone on the free bus twice, walked by the river, walked to Westfield and bought overpriced sushi, eaten cup noodles on the hotel floor, and this:

The carpark below us is being dug up so Langlan has spent quite a bit of his time with his nose glued to the window. He doesn't seem too bothered that we don't have a view of the Harbour Bridge this time!

Uncle Ron's

Langlan, Dad and I have been enjoying a few days away. Yesterday was spent hanging out in the hospital and blowing bubbles.

We spent the night at Ron's farm. Dad was safely tucked up in the car while Langlan and I braved the farmhouse.

No animal attacks to report but we did have a magnificent view during breakfast:

Since then we've been doing various odd jobs around the place interspersed with drink stops to enjoy the view.

This is one beautiful spot. Thanks Dad for inviting/being forced to take us with you!

Unfortunately I didn't get many photos of the party in full swing but this gives you an idea of what a smashing party it was.

Happy Birthday Trinny! Thanks for dreaming big and having such a creative mind, it was a great night.

PS Linny, your song went down a treat, thank you!
