We're all going on a Winter Holiday.....

So, while one half of the world is enjoying the sunshine and strawberries and thongs (of the feet variety) we here are enjoying the cold and the wood fire and those peeks of sunshine that allow for outsideness without our noses dropping off.....and we are also looking forward to the start of the winter break. Three weeks of bliss. For us it means no rushing about in the morning. It means that we will be able float our boats.....the ones that arrived in a special package in the mail (Thanks Aunti Strawberry) It means that we can have cooked lunches and make kites and fly them. We can go bike riding, especially since we have been given a totally cool bike with a gigantic basket at the front that Connor and Kenzi can sit in (Cal, I don;t know what they are called! Yep we were given one!) It means trips to the library and craft and feeding to fish in the harbour and drawing and writing stories and baking cakes. It means wonderful freedom and lots and lots of hanging out with Mummy. Yippee!
Come join us if you can.
Lots of photo's to follow - lovely Canon and Brenton's birthday vouchers got us a new camera - all we need is a memory card and we are good to go. Happy holidays to all of those people in NSW.

What? You got a bakfiets? That is MEGA awesome. Your holidays sound like they're going to be great. I'd definitely join in if I was around. Definitely definitely.
