Here

One week and two days ago my little family should have set off for Africa. We should have packed up our bags, hung about in various airport lounges, taken numerous flights and ended up in a strange and exciting country trying to make a home with the things we had jammed in our suitcases. Instead, we've said goodbye to our Geelong life, driven over a large chunk of Australia and have been doing life in Newcastle. We're living in a bit of a fantasy land, living things that shouldn't have been...

Partying hard and saying goodbye.

Special Japanese treats in the mail (green KitKats anyone?).

Surprising Kt Mac.

Date night. I haven't been to the movies since before Langlan was born, car-azy. Thanks Mumma and Bumpa for babysitting.

Twenty minutes before he left for the airport. Seriously.

Saying they do. Biggest treat ever, to make it to this day of all days.

Birthday shenanigans. Both Mum's and the Queen's.

Starting malaria tablets. Cover them in cheese and they go down a dream!

Langlan wants one for his birthday. Liefie wants one for her dinner.

Packing bags. And boys.

Cousin love.
We've loved every minute of it (except the part where we don't have the main man in our lives with us) and can't wait for the next week and a few days. We're also excited about those airport lounges, the flights and the big, crazy adventure we're continuing on.
