Sometimes a girl just needs a good old rant to get things off her chest. Well, here's my rant. We share our laundry with our next door neighbour. Usually this isn't a problem. The last few neighbours (we seem to go through them quite quickly, is it us?!) have been fine. The odd pair of greying whitey-tighties left in the drum of the machine were the only things we had to put up with. But we have a new neighbour. One with a serious thing for doing laundry. But she's a messy. And she leaves her clothes hanging in there all week. Which means that I am currently surrounded by wet clothes hanging on any available space in our dining room. And they smell. She leaves the drum closed when she's finished her washing and it gets all musty smelling, then our clothes take on the smell when we wash after her.
Andrew laughed when I said that one of the things I'm looking forward to when we head to Oz for Christmas is doing the washing. No sharing of a machine, and hanging out the clothes to dry in the fresh, sunshiney air. Now, that's the way to do your laundry. A girl can dream!

A wise little girl once said to me... Play the 10 things I am thankful for game!!! Try it over the washing menace next door!! xxx (I do understand!)
Try putting a hanky sooked in eucalyptus or other yummy smells in with you drying stuff. It should get rid of the smell and make your stuff smell scrummy. Todays handy hint bought to you by Triniti Macpobj
