We've developed a bit of a routine since the J-girl got back from camp.
Wake up slowly (a little earlier for Langlan and I), breakfast slowly and then shower and dress to take on the day.
We do bits and pieces around the house, Langlan has a nap, J goes for a bike ride.
We throw lunch in there somewhere, a bit of sensorial play (thank you Sew Liberated for the mirror idea and Tiny & Little for the edible finger paint), and then a trip to the pool.
We dinner in the park beside the pool with Andrew and then we come home and the kids collapse into bed whilst the parents wish they could collapse into bed.
We're making the most of the beautiful weather (we had the heater on last week, ridiculous) and we're hoping it lasts.
We love summer, and everything it brings, around here.
